THV11, the TEGNA owned CBS affiliate in Little Rock has an immediate full-time opening for an Administrative Assistant/Research & Programming Coordinator. The ideal candidate will combine highly refined organizational skills along with the ability to coordinate communications with station staff. You will work closely with KTHV’s President and General Manager, submitting expense reports, ordering supplies, prepare for weekly department head meetings and confirm I9 status for new employees. You will also enter and catalogue information into multiple databases related to programs, initiatives, contracts, ratings, digital metrics and more.
Familiarity with television and programming schedules is a plus, creating PowerPoint presentations and coordinating vendor visits and databases.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with television program schedules, FCC reports, reports to TEGNA corporate, scheduling for the general manager, maintaining and updating databases, answering phones, responding to viewer feedback, ordering supplies, tracking client requests, organizing meetings, taking and distributing notes and other duties as assigned.

This hybrid role is part assignment editor and part digital content producer, so the ideal candidate would have a passion for breaking news and creating content. The job involves fielding calls from the public, staying connected with local news and press releases, and organizing breaking news events for live coverage on TV and online.
