CHAIR-ELECT
Kyle King grew up in the Dallas area, attended Baylor University, and began his broadcasting career in Dallas at KDFW. After two and a half years learning the business, he moved to KXAS, spending ten years on the path as an Account Executive, Local Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, and Team Sales Manager. In 2001, he opened and staffed the Dallas FOX National Sales office, serving as Director, until his family relocated to Austin in 2004, in which he served as Local Sales Manager and Director of Sales for KXAN-NBC & KNVA-CW. When they relocated next, he had the opportunity to build a new station and configure a new set and newsroom within Nexstar properties. Currently he serves as the Vice President & General Manager for Nexstar’s Little Rock properties – KARK/NBC, KLRT/FOX, KASN/CW, KARZ/MyNet, and digital assets KARK.com, FOX16.com, Hogville.net, and FearlessFriday.com.
He and his wife Ginger have three children: Dustin, Parker, and Kaden. The family live very active lifestyles, volunteering in the community and in various board opportunities. They enjoy outdoor activities – hiking, climbing, biking, kayaking, and too many sporting opportunities to count.
